We have kick-started the new year with a planning submission for an accessible home remodelling and extension project in Kent.
The project has been commissioned to create an accessible and inclusive home for a young couple and their parents; both of whom have acquired conditions with progressive mobility issues.
Freedom Living Solutions is providing specialist design services to make the ground floor and new extension fully accessible. The remodelled home will greatly enhance living arrangements and bring the family together under one roof.
We are also providing specialist advice on external landscaping so the whole family can enjoy the outdoor space together. This includes creating accessible access to another family member’s home next door.
As part of the design process, Freedom is liaising with support teams from two Borough Councils. This ensures the design efficiently meets the client’s needs and funding objectives.
Construction works will be going to tender shortly with the aim of settling the family into their new home later this year.
